Tentative Schedule for Formula Pro USA Winter Series and Western Championships
Dec 6, 2023 | News
With champions crowned and the 2023 Formula Pro USA Western Championships Presented by Exclusive Racing season in the rearview mirror, series officials are putting the finishing touches on their 2024 campaign. Operating both Winter Series and Summer Series programs, Formula Pro USA competes at some of the Western United States’ premier race venues including the iconic WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca and Sonoma Raceway.
“Congrats to our 2023 champions but as quickly as the checkered flag flies on one season, the green flag will wave on the next,” explained BD Morgan. “We have been working diligently behind the scenes to confirm our 2024 season and feel confident enough to announce a preliminary schedule.”
Despite all dates being tentative, the Formula Pro USA Winter Series will go from two event weekends down to one over the dates of March 1-3 due to the complete repave of the famed Sonoma Raceway. With three race rounds over one weekend, the Winter Series Champions will be crowned on Sunday.
“We really like the idea of a one-and-done weekend to crown a Winter Series Champion as we feel it will increase car count, and the competition level,” adds Morgan.
While the Winter Series is the first program on the docket for the Formula Pro USA program, the Western Championships will quickly take to the track with a tentative schedule listed below.
