It is now time for the penultimate event weekend of the 2024 Formula Pro USA Western Championship Presented by Exclusive Racing. Taking place at the famed Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, the championship is in the home stretch with only four wheel-to-wheel races to go.

Coming into the weekend, Landon Matriano Lim leads the Formula Pro USA F3 Championship by a healthy margin. Perennial front-runner Jay Horak will be pushing hard until the end to try to keep the pressure on. The same can be said in the Formula Pro USA F4 class as Valentino Garbarino is atop the point standings with a chance to secure the title in Sonoma. Behind him, Brad Majman and Alexander Cornfield are in an intense battle for Vice-Championship honors, but pending a significant issue from Garbarino, it is his championship to lose.

“We are getting down to the point of the season with which we have a love/hate relationship, ” said BD Morgan. “It is always great to crown new champions and advance drivers in their careers, but in doing so, we understand that the season is ending. We are actively planning our Formula Pro USA Winter Series and Western Championship program for 2025, but first we need to give out some more hardware this coming weekend and as our championship nears the final rounds.”
