“We are heading into rounds eleven and twelve of our race program and back in the heart of the California motorsports community at Sonoma Raceway,” explained BD Morgan. “Now is the time of year when drivers are looking at a 2023 campaign and teams are looking to fill seats, so we invite anyone and everyone out this weekend to experience our program.”
With qualifying and race action on both Saturday and Sunday, Formula Pro USA competitors will hit the track on Friday for unofficial practice and testing. Jay Horak currently leads the F3 ProAm championship points chase by 54 points over his World Speed Motorsports teammate John Purcell with Dan Decker in third. Nick Persing has a slight advantage over Alex Kirby in the F3 side of the program while in F4, it is a two-driver race to the championship between Carson Etter and Jack Holmes as they are head and shoulders above the rest of the contenders.
Morgan added, “We will have a clear picture of who will be in control in the championships heading into our final event after two days of competition this weekend. We are looking forward to crowning our champions. Also, a huge thanks to our friends at RTD Media and Exclusive Auctions for providing awards and prizes for any new drivers and teams that enter the series this weekend.”
